The near real-time monitoring provides data such as if the beer keg has been opened, how cold the beer is, how much beer has been used, does the brewery know when they expect a new batch, and if the brewery is invoicing a company for only the beer consumed? The demonstration is connected over an LTE-M LPWA cellular network that features Sierra Wireless’ Smart SIM integrated with an LTE-M module, mangOH Red open source hardware, and the Octave platform to extract data from the keg onto the screen via the SAP Cloud Platform.
